Our commitment to quality assurance

Our Quality Assurance process is designed to ensure that you are happy and confident with your home comfort system installation. We guarantee that every installation is double-checked, either virtually or in person by senior management at A1.

The A1 quality assurance process

A great installation with A1 begins with the expertise provided by our triple-certified Technicians.

  • Certified by TSSA for gas fitters license to work on furnaces and fireplaces
  • Certified as expert Air Conditioning and Refrigerant Mechanics
  • A1 is ESA certified to do electrical work necessary for HVAC installations and repairs

After the completion of the installation, we will ensure that all necessary tags are properly attached and displayed to adhere to all safety codes and A1’s high standards.

  • Electrical Safety Authority tag signifies any electrical work regarding your furnace or air conditioner has been inspected and signed off by the Safety Authority
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention tag ensures all air conditioner refrigerants were handled in accordance with Ontario safety standards and guidelines
  • Technical Standards and Safety Authority gas tag ensures fuel installation has been inspected and has passed stringent requirements

After your installation is complete, an A1 Technician will walk you through how to use your new equipment and make sure you’re comfortable with its operation.

  • How your thermostat works with your furnace or air conditioner
  • Where your user manual is located
  • Where your filter is located in your unit and how to change it
  • Educate you on how to best protect the longevity of your new equipment
